Korean Schooling è una serie del fotografo spagnolo con base in Estonia Andres Gallardo, scattata in Sud Corea tra febbraio e marzo di quest’anno: “When I got to know I’d be visiting South Korea I made a big list of places and architecture I wanted to visit. But I’d never expect I would end up making series of Korean schools.”
Tutto è nato per puro caso, quando il fotografo si è perso a Seoul ritrovandosi nel cortile di una scuola. Restare immuni al fascino dei colori teneri contrapposti alle strutture austere è stato impossibile:
“I got fascinated by their pastel colors, their trees, the symmetries, and symbols like the clocks, the national flag and the alphabet I don’t understand.”
