#FeelWimbledon – Il sito che raccoglie le emozioni degli spettatori

Se siete appassionati di tennis e state seguendo la poesia di Wimbledon sappiate che c’è un sito, #FeelWimbledon, che vi aiuta a capire quali sono i sentimenti in tempo reale degli spettatori seduti sugli spalti. Il funzionamento è presto detto: alcuni tra gli spettatori sono monitorati in tempo reale e i risultati di questi monitoraggi sono poi raccolti ed elaborati. I data esaminati riguardano le sezioni Biometric, Atmospheric, Sociometric ed i risultati non sorprendono particolarmente: il grafico mostra come le persone si sentano eccitate prima dell’inizio del match per poi passare lentamente ad un sentimento di attesa dopo i primi scambi. I dati raccolti nel cuore della partita riguardano invece sentimenti di tensione, brivido e stupore.

Il sito rappresenta un esperimento per avvicinare la fascia giovane al torneo senza farli sentire degli alieni come afferma Alexandra Willis, digital boss di Wimbledon:

It’s all about trying to show Wimbledon to a different audience. It’s about engaging with a younger generation. We wouldn’t want to get to a point where our audience is getting older and we haven’t found an entry point to them.
