Dentro Israele – I paesaggi di Sharon Ya’ari

Sharon Ya’ari è un fotografo israeliano che descrive la malinconica tensione tra l’ideale e il reale dei paesaggi ordinari. La decadenza dellle ambientazioni di Tel Aviv è il risultato delle azioni ripetute di trasforzione dello spazio e del tempo da parte dell’uomo, una sorta di archeologia dell’essere. I segni dell’abbandono e dell’erosione estetizzano la natura abbandonata, gli edifici costruiti per il conflitto con la Palestina, strade avvolte nel fumo denso e dalle recinzioni. Ya’ari utilizza la tecnica analogica su formati molto grandi, alcune volte ritrae lo stesso luogo più volte, dove la luce plasma l’intimità di un angolo del paesaggio urbano.
