Gli hotel di lusso della Dorchester Collection illustrati da Gigi Rose Gray

Gigi Rose Gray, nata a New York dove ha conseguito il BFA in illustrazione  alla Parsons School of Design prima di trasferirsi nella soleggiata Los Angeles, ha illustrato i dieci hotel a cinque stelle della famosa catena Dorchester Collection che ha commissionato la serie all’artista.

 “I now roam the unpredictable, exciting world of freelance illustration. This is where the fruits of my labor live.”

Un vortice di viaggi per gli alberghi di Londra, Ascot, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Parigi, Milano, Roma e Ginevra illustrati da Gigi Rose, un’infinità di fotografie, schizzi e appunti per regalarci lo charme di luoghi e tempi che sempre ci hanno fatto sognare. Atmosfere scenograficamente perfette dove architetture, arredi, stoffe e tendaggi sono la cornice ideale per ospiti chicchissimi, immortalati in flash back come fotogrammi di un film a cui tutti vorremmo partecipare.

“I had the opportunity of visiting each hotel throughout Europe and Los Angeles, spending a few days in each and taking in the many rooms and aspects of each space, in both their form and function.”

Un viaggio tra il lusso e la storia dove aleggiano profumi di vanità e raffinati colori en pendant con la proverbiale voluttà della vita.
