Not everyone is comfortable with words, some people are able to fully express themselves with music, others with images. For this reason, we have decided to start this new format: we give 5 inputs to some of the illustrators we like most and ask them to respond through drawings. Not something complex and elaborate, just sketches on paper, like when as children we give shape to our imagination.
Jamuna Poovaiah is an Indian artist based in Bangalore. She’s a Creative Director at an advertising agency during the day and an illustrator at night. She has recently forayed into the world of illustrations and she loves drawing objects and food mostly. She’s a True Crime Documentary enthusiast (Yes, being a Creative Director is a real job!).
Her proudest accomplishment is being her dog’s favourite human.
