Not everyone is comfortable with words; some people can fully express themselves through music, others through images. For this reason, we have decided to start this new type of format in which we give 5 prompts to some of the illustrators we like the most and ask them to respond through sketches. Not something complex and elaborate, but just rough sketches on paper, like when as children we give shape to our imagination. This is Leah Han.

Leah Han is a Berlin-based illustrator originally from Chengdu, China. Her work blends traditional Chinese influences with contemporary aesthetics, creating images that feel feminine, poetic, and gentle. Much of her practice focuses on moments of solitude, self-reflection, and the quiet beauty of everyday life.
She has collaborated with clients across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, travel, and editorial, while also developing personal series such as A Little Escapeand Moments of Her Own. Through both digital and hand-drawn techniques, Leah explores how illustration can convey empathy and storytelling while capturing emotion and atmosphere.
