They say that a picture is worth a thousand words.
Fotointervista is exactly what it sounds like: an interview to be answered with photographs to get to know photographers and their personal world.

Let’s start our photographic journey with Giorgia Bellotti.

Giorgia Bellotti

I shoot to grasp what flows beneath the surface. My photography is connected to the most intimate and hidden side of me. It is an incessant attempt at self-definition, of objectifying myself within the space of an identity that would otherwise be dispersed. Because the lens recomposes, heals. The staging crystallizes, each time, that instant of pure instinct in which my body, through gesture and posture, gives tangible form to a state of mind and becomes its instrument of communication. In self-portraiture, I explore myself without interference: free to exist, as I want, as I feel. I let an emotion emerge, trying to weave an inner dialogue that also resonates with the viewer.
