– Versione italiana a pagina 2 –

This is a series of illustrated interviews created in partnership with Art Lab, a boutique illustration agency connecting visionary artists with world-class clients in publishing, advertising, and editorial. The concept is always the same: five prompts that illustrators respond to with small drawings — not something complex or highly polished, but quick sketches on paper, like when we were kids and gave shape to our imagination. This is Julia Vetyugova.

Art Lab represents both emerging and established international talent, curating portfolios that stand out in a competitive market.
Their mission is simple: to bridge the gap between exceptional talent and the global brands, publishers, and institutions that need them. Art Lab Agency champions unique styles, empowers artists to build sustainable creative businesses, and constantly explores new models of visibility.

Julia Vetyugova
Julia Vetyugova is an illustrator with a background deeply rooted in fine arts, having studied at an art school followed by further education in design.
After years of working as a graphic designer and teaching art history, she sought a more creative outlet, transitioning into illustration. Julia’s vibrant and dynamic style is defined by smooth shapes, bold colors, and graphic textures, often depicting architecture and everyday life with a slightly surreal twist.
