Not everyone is comfortable with words; some people can fully express themselves through music, others through images. For this reason, we have decided to start this new type of format in which we give 5 prompts to some of the illustrators we like the most and ask them to respond through sketches. Not something complex and elaborate, but just rough sketches on paper, like when as children we give shape to our imagination. This is Veronika Pažická.
Veronika is an illustrator and visual artist from Bratislava, Slovakia, currently based in Vienna, Austria. Her work combines vibrant colour, expressive characters and playful narrative, which together explore everyday situations with humour and wit. She creates work for editorial, publishing and brand collaborations, focusing on projects that engage with audiences through relatable yet imaginative narratives.
