Not everyone is comfortable with words, some people are able to fully express themselves with music, others with images. For this reason, we have decided to start this new format: we give 5 inputs to some of the illustrators we like most and ask them to respond through drawings. Not something complex and elaborate, just sketches on paper, like when as children we give shape to our imagination.
Inspired by 90’s childhood memories, pop culture and abstract art, Vanessa K Nickel’s work is both colourful and minimalist. She likes to create settings with few elements that captivate through the use of colour. In addition to her work as an illustrator, she is also a graphic designer located in Germany.
