Not everyone is comfortable with words; some people can fully express themselves through music, others through images. For this reason, we have decided to start this new type of format in which we give 5 prompts to some of the illustrators we like the most and ask them to respond through sketches. Not something complex and elaborate, but just rough sketches on paper, like when as children we give shape to our imagination. This is Barbora Keherova.

Barbora Keherová is a Slovak illustrator and designer based in Los Angeles. Originally trained in architecture at the Technical University of Vienna, she traded blueprints for sketchbooks and never looked back. Her work blends structure with spontaneity—colorful, playful worlds built from emotion, humor, and everyday life. She loves turning simple ideas into vibrant stories that make people smile and think.
